PhD student

r1.alemanzapata@donders.ru.nl

I graduated as a biomedical engineer from Universidad de Guadalajara after working on projects related to the myoelectric control of robotic limbs. I later completed my master degree on electrical engineering at TU Eindhoven where I focused on signal processing for medical applications. During my master I did an internship and wrote my thesis at the Genzel lab where I worked on the spectral analysis of cortical and hippocampal local field potentials of rodents during sleep after performing different learning tasks. I am currently continuing this research and looking forward to collaborating in other projects at the lab that may benefit from engineering and data analysis solutions.
