I completed my bachelor degree as an electrical and electronics engineer at METU in Turkey. In my master’s, I worked on biomedical signal analysis and automatic detection of sleep bruxism, and prototyped an electronic recording device for this illness. In my Phd, I came closer to neuroscience and became more curious on how the brain connections are formed. It is exciting for me to combine engineering knowledge with neuroscience problems. Therefore, I am currently working on the computational analysis of the HexMaze project in Genzel Lab.
