I completed my master's degree in Physiology at SBMU, Tehran, Iran, where I focused on the hippocampal synaptic plasticity using evoked field potential recording in anesthetized rats.
Then I persuade Ph.D. in Physiology at TMU, Tehran, Iran. My current thesis is combining molecular, and electrophysiological techniques to assess VTA and LC stimulation on hippocampal-dependent learning and memory.
Nowadays, I have the opportunity of working in the laboratory of Dr. Genzel in order to learn electrophysiological recording in freely-moving animals. I am involved in the project in the lab to study the role of sleep in memory consolidation, by looking into the Hippocampal-PFC networks while engaging rodents in the Object Space Task.
